Rebuild Free mobile app terms

These plain-English terms cover the Rebuild Free iPhone and iPad beta. Android remains planned and will need a release-specific review before distribution.

Using the app

You may use Rebuild for lawful document work. You are responsible for having the right to capture, open, edit, convert, store and share the material you select, and for meeting confidentiality, copyright, retention and professional obligations that apply to it.

Keep and check originals

Recognition, reconstruction, conversion, compression and editing can make mistakes or remove PDF features. Keep the original and inspect the complete result before relying on it, sending it or deleting source material. Rebuild does not authenticate identity documents or provide legal, financial, medical or archival advice.

Local storage and external destinations

The app-local library can be lost through deletion, device failure, operating system changes or removal of the app. You are responsible for independent backups. When you share to Files, email, a cloud provider or another app, that destination’s terms and privacy practices apply.

Advertising and optional purchases

A public free release may be supported by post-task advertising. Advertising failure must not block a completed result. If an ad-free subscription is offered, its current price, billing period and renewal terms are shown by the store before purchase. Store controls are used for payment, cancellation and restoration; availability can vary by country and app version.

Availability

Beta software can change and may contain defects. Features may differ by device, operating-system version, document type or available memory. Planned Android, desktop and extension products are not commitments to release dates.

Store licence

An App Store distribution is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless App Store Connect identifies a valid custom agreement. A future Google Play release will also be subject to the applicable Google Play terms.
