Mobile app terms

The terms for using Rebuild on iPhone and iPad.

Last updated: 23 July 2026

Using the app

You may use Rebuild for lawful document work. You are responsible for having the right to capture, open, edit, convert, store and share the material you select, and for meeting confidentiality, copyright, retention and professional obligations that apply to it.

Keep and check originals

Recognition, reconstruction, conversion, compression and editing can make mistakes or remove PDF features. Keep the original and inspect the complete result before relying on it, sending it or deleting source material. Rebuild does not authenticate identity documents or provide legal, financial, medical or archival advice.

Local storage and external destinations

The app-local library can be lost through deletion, device failure, operating system changes or removal of the app. You are responsible for independent backups. When you share to Files, email, a cloud provider or another app, that destination’s terms and privacy practices apply.

Advertising and optional purchases

If a released version includes ads, they may appear only after a completed task and must never block your result. If ad-free access is offered, the store shows the price and terms before purchase. Use the store to pay, cancel or restore.

Availability

Features may differ by device, operating-system version, document type or available memory. Rebuild cannot guarantee that every file will process correctly.

Store licence

An App Store distribution is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless the App Store shows a different agreement.
