Help with Rebuild web tools
The current tools work in modern browsers and process documents on your device. These checks solve the most common problems.
Supported browsers
Use a current version of Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Older browsers may not support PDF workers, large in-memory files or reliable multi-file downloads. Keep the tab open until processing finishes.
A PDF will not open
- Confirm the file ends in .pdf and opens in an ordinary PDF viewer.
- Unlock password-protected files before using the web tools.
- Download cloud-only files to the device before selecting them.
- Try a desktop browser if the document is unusually large.
The browser ran out of memory
PDF and image processing can temporarily use several times the file size. Close other heavy tabs, process fewer files at once, or use a computer with more memory. The site limits particularly expensive conversions to protect mobile devices.
A download did not appear
Check the browser’s download indicator and site permissions. Some mobile browsers ask where to save each file. When a tool creates many results, use the individual download buttons and allow each download if prompted.
Important output differences
Merge, split, extract, remove and rotate copy PDF pages without rendering them. Compression deliberately recreates pages as images and can remove searchable text, links, form fields, tags or other interactive structure. The tool states this before it runs.
