Create one PDF for each page

A source PDF can contain up to 250 pages. The tool creates one PDF per page and appends the source page number to each filename so the downloaded set remains in document order.

Every single-page output is built as a separate document and checked before it is included in the download. The original multi-page PDF remains unchanged on disk.

Remove references to absent pages

A single-page file cannot keep bookmarks, links or form structures that depend on pages left in the source document. Those references are pruned instead of pointing to destinations that no longer exist.

Navigation that begins and ends on the retained page can remain. Open a sample output and test any link, annotation or supported form field that must continue working in the isolated page.

Use split files for individual records

Splitting is suited to a scanned batch where each page is a separate record, such as certificates for different recipients, invoices for separate clients or receipts for individual expense claims.

It also prepares pages for systems that accept one record per upload. Review the source first when a record spans two or more pages, because Split creates a separate file for every page.

Choose split, extract or remove

Use Split when every source page needs its own file. Extract pages keeps a selected range together in one PDF, while Remove pages deletes a known set and keeps the remaining document together.

The three operations run in this browser without sending the selected PDF to a processing server. Each creates new output and leaves the original source unchanged.

After download, confirm that the expected number of files is present, open the first and last page and check the numbered filenames before distributing the set.

A filename's appended page number refers to its position in the source PDF. Keep the source beside the split set until the file count and page correspondence have been checked, and match every individual record to its intended recipient before distribution.
