01

Three pages with distinct jobs

The cover introduces the project and parties. Page two explains the opportunity, objectives, approach and exclusions. Page three sets out deliverables, timing, investment, assumptions and approval.

Content stays where you place it, so the proposal keeps its page layout. You can still move, resize or rewrite anything on the page.

02

Write for the decision

Lead with the client's desired outcome and use concrete deliverables. State exclusions, dependencies, client responsibilities, review rounds, payment timing and the process for approving scope changes.

Remove any section that does not help the decision. Add a page when more evidence or detail is needed rather than reducing the type size.

03

Check commercial details

Check the named parties, currency, tax treatment, prices, dates, validity, intellectual-property wording and approval terms. Seek appropriate advice where the value or consequences justify it.
